actually, thats what I asked, I have a brakiri fleet, but don't use them much, but with the new beam rules, the avioki and halton become quite tough, so for my brakiri, it's all about second ed ;-)

no what I mean is it won't be at the PL we've been playtesting

apparently the model turned out a bit bigger than planned....

More Brakiri, excellent!!!!!

I love the ships, especialy the Kabrokta, it goes well with the others in the Brakiri fleet

Shame I can't make the 5th May, would love to have seen them, I will just have to wait

any chance of an idea of the Kabrokta? level? (2nd ed, we know 1st ed might differ) I'd hoped it could be a carrier of the pikitos, but alas it seems not.
It's about the size of a Primus, so I'd guess Battle.

But then the Dargan is Raid and thats big!

I like the Kabrokta, even if it is too big to fulfill its intended role! :P

The Blue Stars I like much more than I thought I would

The Myrmidons though? Just don't look EA imo, I keep thinking Tau (maybe it's the colour scheme)

No I think you are right, they definately move away form EA design conventions

hmm they just aren't growing on me :(

I like these new models. Not sure that LCV-thing is right for the EA, but it's a nice design. Blue Stars are a bit basic but should do the job with nice paint schemes. New Brakiri ship needs more detail, but it's a nice design too.

The Brakkiri ship I like, bit lacking in surface details though but thats not the end of the world.

The Bluestars I love, perhaps a little pointier than I was expecting (the one sheridan flies at the end looks a bit stubbier if you ask me but again not a big deal).

The Myrmidons now....

Im sorry but these are just rubbish. The sides just look stupid, Im sure theyre supposed to be landing drives or something but they just look naff. The ship iteslf just looks completely out of character with the rest of crusade EA too. Where are the armour pannels? Where are the turrets? Hell even the engines look totally un-EA (though you cant realy see much of them here Ill grant you). Ill see what theyre like in game terms but at the moment I think Ill use Tethys as substitutes frankly.

Oh, and the blue stars a a bit small, aren´t they? well, at least when compared to the White star miniature, but that´s something I can live with

Blue stars ARE small. IIRC sleeping in light you saw it emerging from B5 hangar :D

Good thing blue star didn't suffer nolotar style scale creep.

Brakiri ship looks nice though some detailing wouldn't go amiss but atleast it's not Adira style on that regard(quite).

EA ship...Well I would buy these if I would have crusade era fleet. Once I expand there then maybe. But for 3rd age EA player they are redundant release anyway :D

Kabrokta; as a lot of the ships made by Mongoose are lacking in their detail lvl compared to the old AOG designs so its not surprising.... good looking Brakiri ship nonetheless.

Myrmidon: looks like a nice ship... doesn`t look EA for sure though, would be happy to use it for another race or in non B5 games. EDIT: the ship reminds me of a Goa'uld Transport vessel from Stargate, especially the nose section.

Bluestar: looks like a Bluestar... it is a Bluestar... nuff said. :)

err.... has Mongoose changed their mini designer? because this stuff looks a lot better than their other releases recently. 8)

I must be blind, I like them all, even the Myrmidon, though I agree its not very EA like, but if a load of other EA crusade era ships look like this that are coming out later, may be OK

Any way I like it

:D Ah yes I see the resemblance, I knew it reminded me of something! Thanks Jal

On first glance, I thought the Myrmidon was a Centauri design actually, although admittly a semi-goofy looking one. The Blue Stars actually quite nice, although once again not as 'curvy' as I thought it would be.

The Kabroktas very nice from an overall standpoint, but I'm with the others in the 'lacks surface details' arguement. Maybe some detail appliques which can be bent to shape and glued on to the main mini itself are in order?
