New Edition Book Compatability?

I am eagerly awaiting the release of 2nd Edition Conan, but would like to know how compatible 1st edition books are going to be with the 2nd Edition rules. Will there be a conversion document?

They should be perfectly compatable; at least, that is my understanding.

Does that also go for the Nordheim/Cimmeria/Hyperboria and the Turan/Hyrkania sourcebooks that we just know your working on, Vincent? Hint,hint,hope,hope

If I were working on them, yes. I have a Turan/Hyrkania book mostly finished (for my own use, though; Mongoose never assigned the book). Right now Mongoose does not have me working on anything Conan related. Hopefully that changes.

I think I recall reading how the "Ruins" book came about from the interest shown on these forums. Is that anything we can duplicate? Or perhaps a home phonenumber of those in charge that we could call..and call..and call..and call..

ATTENTION ATTENTION MONGOOSE:

2nd ed will be nice. We still need to finish up the Hyborian source books. How can you sleep at night without a Cimmeria???? I cannot.

Get Vincent on it. We all need it and will all buy it. So much left to do. I will pre-order any source book that Vincent does right now if that helps. And I know, I am not alone.
