New Cover art for the books!!

I'm going to miss those Ralph Horsley covers. I quite liked them. it would be nice if Mongoose got him to do the new Lone Wolf rpg cover art as well (and maybe some interior illustrations too). He's like a new Adrian Smith (before his stint as Target games only artist for Chronopia made him develope a taste for exessive spikiness and exagerated cartoony proportions).

In case you haven't seen it, here is the cover by Gary Chalk for the french edition of Lone Wolf.

I very much prefer that cover to the one that Mongoose has presented for the second edition. The logo is ok, not great but ok, but the art looks very boring and non-evocative..
The logo is the original one from the 80's, so it had to be there :-). I think this is a matter of sensibilities, since most French don't like the American/British logo and reverse. Personnaly, I think the logo should have been desaturated/sepia'd to match the graphical chart of the cover.

It is indeed the cover of the rulebook of the French version of the LWRPG. The editor will also republish the gamebooks, but I don't know if they are going to go with the covers of the third edition in French or with new artwork by GC.
The first twenty had already been republished and… we are presently facing a stock shortage for the first five :-)). Covers are the ones of the third printing (the ones with embossed title), which are 70% the same as the previous two printings.

I am also looking forward to earnimng my sommersword but I see reference to people saying they read the new first book? Im sorry if I got it wrong but where did they get this information and or the book?
