New computer paradigm

Yes, I know. Still beyond stupid for the slots taken (10). Compare to other programs like Jump. Given the extreme econ pressure to run those pgms on Traders, it would be part of the computer already.

Just another fix of the lame computer rules.

(4) Random CG and only 4 major / high detailed careers was a reason we mostly ditched the CG system and used 2300AD chargen
For the first part, random is the default chargen but there are other options, don't know if you've explored them. For the second part, what do you mean by "only 4 major / high detailed careers"?

MegaTraveller not MonGooseTraveller. MT only had "random with brownie points" (A system easily backportet to MgT) and only 4 (Navy/Trader/Scout/Marines) fully detailed careers aka Extended Character Generation

Five not four, you are forgetting both iterations of Merchant Prince....
