Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

No, they dream of digital sheep. ;)

Jeesh, I thought Battlestar Galactica & Matrix were Bladerunner sequels?

Will the new movies be sponsered by the "Human Resistance" car.
Or be like the Indiana Jones films;

"Dekker and the Androids of Doooom..." "Dekker & the Shocking Sweater Mystery" (get it? Electric sheep...) :D

This can only be bad, because the original is perfect.

Not so perfect that it srtopped them bringing out a box set with 5 different versions of the film in it.

For your own sanity I strongly recommend you never watch more than one different version of a film in one 24 hour period, especially if it's Blade Runner :shock:

Your warning comes four years too late... proud (and somewhat sane) owner of the 5-Disc Edition since '07
And yes, I did watch all five versions back to back :twisted:

Likewise

@Vile, which one is the perfect one?

The first director's cut, where I fast-forward through the unicorn dream. :twisted:

I can't say I've seen the other 3(?) versions, because I'm happy with that one. I just wish the unicorn dream had been left out, because it spoils the uncertainty.

Maybe they can re-release it with that bit cut out? Then it would be an improvement.

Huh. Another example of "remake-mania"?

Whichever. I'll give it a miss. Seeing the original theatre version in my (long-since closed) local fleapit cinema blew my mind away. The sprawling, polluted cityscape, the passing Spinner aircars, the gouts of flame from towering chimneys... and not a whiff of CGI pixels. :D
