Narn advice

well 1st 2 battle points really need spending on a G'vrahn as its the best narn ship out there. then you really need ships that are manouvrable for fighting the shadows.
remaining 3 battle points I would put into:
1st: Varnic, 2 Thentus
2nd: T'rann (as fighters annoy shadows), 1 Thentus, 1 Sho'kar (to try lower scouts stealth)
3rd: either 2 var'nics or a var'nic and dag'kar

No, no. What you want is 2 G'Quans, they are.... far more useful than a poxy G'Vrahn.

Oh wait, silly me! I'll get me coat! :)

(.... the best looking ship in the B5 universe IMHO)

katadder's suggestions are pretty much on the money. I'd personally make sure I have two Sho'Kars and one Dag'Kar for helping break Stealth on the (numerous) Scouts your opponent will take, a T'Rann, a G'Vrahn and pack out the rest with Thentus/Var'Nics.

An interesting concept would be to take hordes of Ka'Tans though - their E-mines would be deadly here, they aren't bad ships anyway and their Frazis would all help.

In fact, if you want a purely "competitive" fleet rather than a balanced one then I may be tempted to go for:

1 x Dag'Kar
2 x T'Rann
2 x Sho'Kar
11 x Ka'Tan
2 x (2) Sho'Kov

I'd expect the Shadow player to take (if there is any terrain):

1 x Shadow Ship (Young)
6 x Shadow Scout

If there is no terrain then he will probably take ten Scouts.
