Naming Hunters

I put names on the bases of my EA and Psi Corps ships.

My EA are mostly named for WWII planes and aviators. My Psi Corps mostly have their names taken from the Psi Corp RPG book. I have chose two possibilities for my Shadow Omega based on the Griffon Games transfers, either Acheron or Charon.

But I don't know what to name my hunter. I'm thinking EAS Styx or simply designating it with HEW-1 (ie Hunter Experimental Warship).

Any suggestions?

although Styx is ok, you could also look at "gods of death" as suitable names.

Death Gods, nice idea. A quick wiki search and:

Mictlantecuhtli, I don't fancy painting that on a base!

Morrigan, a possibility.

Thanatos, another possibilty.

Yama, Ah Puch and Enma don't quite have the gravitas I was looking for.

perhaps - "Hedgehog" or "Drut" or even "Spike"

Nephthys - Egyptian goddess of death, Set, Sobek,

Ammut.............................The devourer.

In honor of the randomness of the dice rolling with the beam, I would suggest naming one of them PCS Pinky and the other PCS Brain. One that is pretty ineffectual, and the other that is always trying to take over the Universe. :wink:
