My ships

I've been busy painting:

Putting guns on the Hyperion was very fiddly.

I'm not 100% happy with the markings on the Narn ships:

I'll try and do some better pictures tomorrow (as well as B5).

I think all 3 look great. Though, I can see what you mean by the Narn ships. I'm not sure what it was, but at first glance they just appeared to be different (Not a bad thing at all, infact I kinda like it better the way you have it). Perhaps, it's that your design has more "spots" on it. Either way, I really like what you did with the Narn ships.

Maybe it really is that - in the series, the Narn camouflage was more like stripes; yours has spots - but still, it does look good!

I´m impressed with how smooth the white looks on your Hyperion; I´ve painted four of them and each has a really rough texture to it... what kind of coulours do you use? Acrylic, or oil-based?

My Narn do tend towards a bit wider shapes, but what I wasn't 100% happy about was that my white borders weren't quite crisp and even.

i like em, the mostly black Bin'Tak looks great.

the Hyperion is an awesome job! lookk forward to seeing more. 8)

I've learned a couple of things - no matter how much I think my hands are steady, they aren't. The side views are better than the top views because I can rest the camera on something. Also difuse sunlight is better than direct, direct leaves them looking slightly washed out.

when i take pics i usually have a light blue background, i use natural light (but not direct) and i have a small tripod thing for my camera. put it on marcro mode and timer and off you go.

my results are ok.
