My game starts soon (Perps & Crimes)

So with my game about to start, I've decided that the first couple of sessions will just be patrol type affairs, with that in mind I've rolled up some crimes...

NOTES: LONE KNIFEMAN IS OUT OF HIS HEAD ON DRUGS. ADDICTED TO UMPTY CANDY DAVE CHORLEY IS A DESPERATE MAN, IF HE SEES THE JUDGES COMING HE WILL TAKE HIS VICTIM HOSTAGE. CHORLEY’S ADDICTION HAS LEFT HIM WILDLY UNPREDICTABLE.

NOTES: 74 YEAR OLD BERNY BOLTER HAS TODAY DISCOVERED THAT HIS WIFE OF 50 YEARS (DOREEN) HAS BEEN HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH BLOCK GIGALO 72 YEAR OLD. THE 3 OF THEM ARE LOCKED INTO THE APARTMENT (BERNY HAS ENCRYPTED THE LOCK -2DM TO UNLOCK IT), AND THE NEIGHBERS HAVE COMPLAINED OF A DISTURBANCE.

CITZENS IN THE AREA: 1 THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE COVER
NOTES: VICTOR KRAG WAS A PCA SUFFERER WHO TRIED ALL THE KNOWN CURES BUT NOTHING WORKED, IN THE END HE WAS LOBOTOMISED AT THE CRANSTON INSTITUTE. HE SHOULD NOT BEEN ABLE TO COMMIT THIS CRIME. THE VICTIM WAS DR JAMES BANKS. IT APPEARS VICTOR WAS TRYING TO LOBOTOMISE HIM WITH A LAZ-DRILL. BANKS WORKED AT THE CRANSTON INSTITUTE.

No. Not really, but you get a longer campaign if you start a touch smaller. Maybe start with Judge Fear.

So heres how things worked out...

First off I had 6 Judges one person didn't turn up otherwise I would of had a daunting 7 players! I put them into teams of 2, the crimes they investigated were determined at random.

CASE FILE - 01

Judge Sweet and rookie Judge Helm attending.

This turned into a runing gun battle and chase on the Skedway, the Judges were itching to unleashe there Lawmaster weapons but were scared of inflicting civilian casualties, meanwhile the perps started ramming traffic off the Skedway in an attempt to dalay the quickly gaining Judges, eventually a rubber ricochet fired into the perps car took out the driver and the car plowed into the central barrier. Two dead, the rest got life + 20.

Langstrom deftly un-encrypted the lock to the apartment while Doe used life sense to gauge how many potential perps were in the room. Inside they found Bernie standing over Flash with an axe while Doreen was screaming in a panic. Judge Langstrom tried to shoot the axe out of Bernie’s hands, but missed and instead took out the plasti-glass window, causing everything and one in the apartment to be thrown around, seizing the moment Judge Doe leaped and Bernie to try and wrestle him to the ground, thrown of balance by the gusting gale Doe ended up missing Bernie altogether and took a glancing to the head from the axe. Doreen trying to defend her husband throws herself at Judge Doe sobbing her heart out, meanwhile Flash scurries away in the confusion. Now that Flash is safe, but not risking another shot while Doreen is in the way, Judge Langstrom orders her out of the way, his commanding voice does the job and she backs off, leaving Judge Doe free to pin Bernie and slap on the cuffs. There sentancing skills weren't great here and they ended up arguing among themselves as to what to arrest the perps for. Bernie got 11 years, Dorreen got 5 years for interfering with a Judge in the cause of his duty.

CASE FILE - 03 This one was not resolved and will be finnished tommorow, so I'll post once I have the full story.

I like the case file presentation. You could always take that, print onto a Rolodex card, then have them handy for use in game, in case of appeals or what not.
