Exactly, they are difficult to get the most out of defensively but have more potential than most ships. Offensively they have fewer AD than I remember :?katadder said:damage wise you could say the same thing about some of the other battle level vessels. . i mean it has lowish damage but combined with shields takes it upto the level of things like tinashis and dargans but the shadow stalker also gets self repair as well as half its shields back per turn and cant be crippled. i would say unless you concentrate enough on it to kill it in one turn its tougher than any other battle level vessel out there.
Da Boss said:Sorry IIRC the old (1st set of rules I played) Shadow Ships used to have the Accurate trait which meant they never missed...........you did not need to roll for initial hit - it was very nasty - and my suggestion was only a joke!but then also any ship was destroyed on a 6,6 critical ! (a Starfury once destroyed my Shadow Cruiser! - great game - i had just cut a Sharlin in half!)

There is a line in the series where Delenn says "The shadows missed, the shadows NEVER miss" or something like that. I am all in favour of shadows being very scary

Pics are good. Too many folk don't know how to paint in the proper scheme. Especially when some ships only get brief coverage in the episodes.
Regards,
Hey, if you are paying the freight you can paint them any way you like. Its just nice to have the "correct" paint scheme.Da Boss said:David said:What aspect?

Yeah pics of "proper schemes" are good - but its also nice for people to try new things - the "Black Widow" Shadows on here are lovely - but not "Canon" there is plenty of room here for both!![]()
My red and gold Centauri are not well done or canon but I like em![]()
