Guys, I did not cancel my event because the current state of affairs with MP or BFE. I cancel because my job would not allow me to attend the convention.
I'm still staying positive on BFE. I think what MP is trying to do by providing not only rules but prepainted figures and vehicles is admirable and I which other manufactures would do the same for other periods. By MP providing prepainted miniatures, they telling the gamer, "Hey, buy this box of miniature and start playing." This is the vision that is needed, not only for historicals but for other gaming periods thats markets minatures. And giving the fact that this hobby has to compete for the home entertainment dollar against such thing as video gaming and computers, I support MP in their efforts to make it easier for the gamers to get started and play games. By promoting prepainted miniature, the younger generation gamers don't have to paint tens of figures just to play. So I hope MP will continue the wave of miniatures it has plan to produce and be successful for doing it.

If you haven't officially cancelled with the Fall In staff - I can run a BF Evo game in the slot/table - to at least get us some BF Evo coverage - I won't be able to sport a Blackhawk Down scenario - but I can throw down a fair # of points of MEA vs USMC - Let me know if I can help you out - otherwise I'll just run some pick up games in the evening.
& I won't whine about not gettin' free stuff for my trouble
