So after digging through my minis collections I've found a few good models of B5 stuff b/c apparently back in the day I just loved having a lil bit of everything
I have found in my old mini stock:
1x Vorcha
1x Balvaran
1x Omega
1x Brakiri Avioki
1x old school hyperion
1x Whitestar
1x Shadow Ship
1x Sharlin
All that is from like 5 or so years back, more recently I've bought
1x Excalibur (Has been proxy for a Chaos Planet Killer in BFG)
1x Delphi
1x Apollo
1x Whitestar Gunship
And I've already placed orders for a Marathon and 2x Narn Ka'tocs, a Shadow Scout and am highly tempted to order a G'Vrhan.
Now, having looked at all the fleets and feeling like I have something of a firm grasp of how the game works, I come to the realization that I don't truly have the makings of a real fleet (sadface) rather I have enough of a smattering to allow for 1 v 1 and 2v2 ship battles. Now, having looked at them, I know that I like the looks of EA, Narn, Shadows and ISA. Shadows and ISA seem to cater for when my mood swings towards mobile and armed to the teeth, while ISA and Narn seem to appeal to the side of me that likes a lot of heavy weaponry and armor.
Any advice on which of these fleets I should attempt to complete before minis are oop? All else fails, I could just use my BFG minis as proxies but still, at least 1 complete B5 force would not be amiss to my eyes. I'm thinking I shall leave the ISA as is for now, esp since the Excalibur can be an EA geddon scale ship, and while I don't think I'm ready to learn Shadows, I will want to later. So it's either some more EA or some more Narn.... or both
(I know this is probably a really newbie kind of post to make- my apologies for that, but everyone's gotta start somewhere- and so far this forum seems really cool about newbs getting into the game)
