I dont think you should have done that on the cloth, he looks somewhat frozen, his inner heaters would heat the area outside his clothes to not have ice form that much, but on the armour, it looks cool! Literally!

In a -230°C environment he would need a nuclear power plant to do so :lol:
(allright then he wouldn't walk around with open visor but we may asume he just returned from battle )

Weeeeeeell, sgt. monty STILL has his faceplate, Visor up or down changes nothing about that (anyone who watched the cgi knows, you can't open a cap trooper helmet)

Also he is no real Sgt Monty, he's not burned and scarred enough :lol:

like the chas, gun under the arm looks to big imho, other than that, he rocks!

So here's my first "spare part Bug".

I had so much parts left from that two Mantis Bugs so I decided to make another one.
This model represents a Mantis Assassin (the wings represent the jump capacity).

Freakin sweet. For a spare part model it rocks. Cannot wait to see it painted. You gonna make any house rules for it?

well the Thorny will be awesome, nice and simple adjustments

and you seem to have redeemed the guard bug with some tyranid parts

as to the mantis assassin, its very nice, I keep thinking of calling him Bugosaurus Rex

I modified the legs (bowed them, cracked them, filled them with GreenStuff etc.) because I didn't like the static pose of the original modell (it looks just too boring).
