Sadly, now that you have the ice color, which loks better than how mine ever could have been, I've chosen to paint Awsome X like a normal brain bug, and the rest of the arachnids in a wasp color. Black n yellow... I couldnt think of anything else. (I want to stay within what colors the bugs might give themselves.)

Ah, come on, your's will surely look nice, too

And otherwise choose something completely stunning.
I'm still fascinated of the idea of cobalt blue bugs living on a planet with vast cobalt silica deserts
Or what about bugs painted in a cow shemes with little horns? (no, that idea isn't from me^^)
Tiger Bugs would also look quite interesting.

p.s. Bugs would give their breeds any colour they think is appropriate. If that would mean 'painting' them in primary red with neon green stripes (man, that would look distracting!) they wouldn't care.

That's really a hand phaser. The glue stick is camouflage :wink:

I do... aparently.. We just dont have the glue sticks. I kinda like them wasp style, actually. Especially the hoppers. Oh, when I say "wasp", I don't mean I'll be giving the warriors black n yellow stripes. Or anything else. The only thing with stripes are the hoppers.

I like it! The contrast between the very dark shell looks good above the bright lower body. The weathering will no doubt knock this down a bit but will look great.
