also the challeng for me was to do 3 2k armies for the tourny in a month !!!
as for the madness its up to us guys to keep the enthusiasm going with new ideas. gonna be interesting to see how we acheive this when prepaints come out !!
1. Cut apart the Controll Bugs as shown. Remove the parts carefully because you will need them all (except the mouth claws).
Use a fine file to 'repair' those cut edges making them round again.
Especially the head needs care here.
2. Reassemble the parts as shown below. Use a fine file to make them fit if they don't. Two small plastic parts (I used the rotor blades of a 1:720 Helicopter) will make a nice pair of wings.
Lessons learned today: The smaller the model the harder to paint.
Those Baby Warriors are nasty (still at least 5 to do) but that Mini Rippler was really ugly.
Rob, there's nothing really wrong with a pose that shows a figure about to fall over, either. He could be ducking for cover, or dodging a bug fireball or acid spit (etc.). It's alright if he repositions it to me, but also alright for me if he doesn't, heh. Soldiers are human afterall, and trip like the rest of us  .
