After the fail of FFG with their Mutant Chronicles CMG, what about a "Warzone Evolution" with the Evo. rules?

Here you got the miniatures:

Maybe also als Chronopia?

I did enjoy the Mutant Chronicles role-playing game. Interesting spin on sci-fi, supernatural, space travel, noir/30s technology. the terraforming and colonization of the planets and the supernatural evil rocked as well!

Hmm, a Evo version of Warzone would be actually quite easy for me...
Have to think about it...

I even have some armies painted from the good old days.

You´re the man, Agis! :D

At the moment, i´am trying an "Evo. Mod." for the 54mm FFG miniatures.

I also think, that the Mutant Chronicles and the Warzone license are two different parts of the same franchise. But i´am not sure about this.

Uuhh - why did i also start thinking about an "Doom Evolution" ruleset at the moment.

Definitely interesting for me, I have to research who holds the copyright for Warzone. I am an old fanboy (as my pics might show...), but this is more a project for 2010 or so...
We'll see.

Paradox Entertainment is the owner of the copyright. To be honest, however, I think that Warzone would lose a lot of its appeal in the "conversion process"... I like Evo and I'm a great fan of Warzone (I'm organizing a tournament next week :D ) - but they are two different games with two completely different approaches. Maybe Evo would be good for a "mass combat" variant of Warzone for those really large battles...

You are the man Agis. I can't wait for that suppliment! I think there is a lot of "old" Warzone fans around. There is about 12 (I have 3) armies still floating around in the our local club. I would be very interested in anything to do with Warzone, so long as it contained the right feeling of the Mutant Chronicles universe.

TT.

While I have never played Warzone (so I could very well be wrong here), but maybe the SpecOps version of EVO will help in the conversion since there are much less troopers involved than in a normal EVO game?
