"Must See" WW2 movies

Graywinter

Mongoose
Someone mentioned Windtalkers and said it was a must see WW2 movie.

Let's make a list - copy and paste and add to it. Criteria... you must have it in your personal collection!

Band of Brothers
Saving Private Ryan
Stalingrad
Enemy at the Gates
Thin Red Line
Memphis Belle
Desert Rats
A Bridge too Far
D-Day, 6th of June
The Big Red One
The Desert Fox

Well I don't have them in my collection, but I don't see how my not owning them makes them any less 'must see'

The DamBusters (I do have the novel of this one)
(My dad has the next 2 though)
Mosquito Squadron
633 Squadron

Reach for the Sky
The First of the Few

Yes I know they're all aeroplane movies but hey, they are WW2 movies.

LBH

Because anyone can list a bunch of movies... having them in your collection means you like them well enough to own them.

*shrugs* just trying to keep it from being a 'name every movie you have ever seen post"

Bridge over the river Kwai
The Battle for Stalingrad (Made in 1949 by Stalin showing the triumphant red army as his great decisions. Made using a massive portion of the red army. Its awesome)
Guns of Navarone

hmmmm

stalingrad is good, its the war on russia from a german point of view, some great scenes with a ambush on some KV-1 tanks

come and see... its plain bizzar but is russian and from a russian view interesting but your only watch it once.

Yeah, it's really good, but I thought it was T34's. Gotta see it again to be sure though...

Big Red One
Cross of Iron (Peckinpah + WW2, what's not to love?)
Kelly's Heroes
The Eagle has Landed
The Battle of Britain
