I hated being 15.
You can't quite do the things you can do at 16, and you can't quite get away with getting cheaper fares...

17's gonna be worse, can't quite legally drink in the pub, can't quite legally buy booze.

I think what Mr Evil used (unless he wishes to correct me) is an GW Space Marine jump pack, really old metal ones.
