More Free Trader

I dragged out my old Carrara 5.1 Pro with WireFrame Pro installed, and
imported my Free Trader model to get this vintage illustration look. It's
one of the reasons I still have Carrara.

Just a remote outpost on a random world. I guess. My players imagine their own things from these pics (they don't follow the 3rd Imperium stuff). This is a generic scene for a generic situation.

Sweet image. I'm curious what actual weather would be like on a water world. Intuitively, I would guess that the clouds would be stretched along the direction of rotation, but the picture is too pretty to bother much with meteorological pickiness.

The telephoto lens brings everything in focus. Reminds me of the old Apollo docking films. And that one shot used in ALIEN.
