nothing worth while is ever easy... They said Conan would be rubbish (look at all the other conan stuff, comics, rpgs...).

If Lone Wolf works, why not monkey? I hated Lone Wolf game books, but the game, looks pretty good...

This one, well theres a very famous classic novel, TV series and virtually untapped genre there... A proper oriental based fantasy setting... could be bigger than that dirty old 5rings psuedo-samurai game (which I love as my GM occassionaly wanders through her) :twisted:

Congratulations to all Monkey fans here who never gave up!

The egg might have taken a long time to hatch from the primal chaos..but as we all know the nature of Monkey was irrepressible! :lol:

I'm looking forward to seeing the Great Sage Equal of Heaven in print at long last. I did try doing a D&D version a long, long time ago, but that did not work too well. Of course now its Mongoose doing it I might just have to dust off that old adventure again..

Just one thought now...what are you all going to post about now Monkey is coming?!!

monkey is being done by dancing dryad under licence from mongoose for there OGL Anicents game and it will be good as for the board I for one will not give up my crown without a fight so will find some thing else to fight for 8)

Of course Mongoose will be under pressure now, given that there seems to be a rather 'suprising' number of people interested.

I think its going to do very well (provided you can get people in on the idea that Jouney to the West is the source for MONKEY!)
