of the Kzinti miniatures. I bought some singles from ADB, and the BC's booms were bent 90 degrees at the body. I managed to bend them back into place, but from what I'm told they are likely to break on the next bump/drop due to metal fatigue. I now have to fool around with some way to brace them, probably steel wire or something.
They look to be fragile, and would benefit from some sort of packaging to keep the ships from shifting around in the box during transport. Plastic tray would work best, but that would probably be the most expensive option. Wrap the minis in bubble-wrap (individually taped?) would help as well.
I was going to buy more Kzinti minis, but that is in doubt now. I don't have a retail establishment to look at the minis before I buy them, picking out the ones without badly bent booms. So there goes at least 8-10 minis, maybe a fleet box worth, not purchased because of this.
