Yes Andrew I do agree that if the software is OS free so to speak, that 100% of the players could use it would be awesome, the more the merrier. But if it is not and only works on a specific OS then i was remarking on the Windows being the Market share to sell to. I did not even take into account the changes that might occur in the near future with Windows 7 on the way. Which might even change the numbers even more, the key word there being "might". I really liked my D&D corerules software (as I don't play the anything but the 2nd edition I prefer the old school feel which is why I like Mongoose Trav, feels that way to me) If something like that comes out to help my games and my players i am all for it.
Like I did post earlier on the first page of the post's I mentioned the windows Help files out there on the net even those work wonders for my games. Could those files be used to help in the creation of the Traveller Library that is being discussed. I know that the traveller library help file is based off the the 2 CT library books as I have both and compared them. I just dont know who owns what, where these commercial products or fan work. i think they were commercial but I am not 100% positive.
