Really wish i could make it to the open day but i can't
not only will the B5 books be on sale its my sisters birthday so i'd manage to avoid the fuss but i can't get down there so i'll have to wait for the books and put up with my sister

Only just having recently bought a Mongoose book (Runequest & the Companion in PDF format) I am possibly interested in this event, but I am not actually sure what it will involve, so can someone enlighten me?

Will I be able to buy product there?
Will I be able to get into a RuneQuest RPG game if I just turn up?
What other attractions are there (other than Claudia who I hope won't do her ankle in like she did at GenCon UK years back meaning I missed getting my Earthforce sourcebook signed)?

Probably, the only games they've asked for booking are the two tourney and the CC game.

Conan, Paranioa RPGs. Probably demo games of the Paranoia DNCCG, Battlefield Evo, ACTA, and other Mongoose games.

Conan, Paranioa RPGs. Probably demo games of the Paranoia DNCCG, Battlefield Evo, ACTA, and other Mongoose games.

I don't play any of the other games and am not into Conan but I do like B5 and I think I saw the Evo minis at UK Games Expo and they looked cool for Shadowrun minis.

It might be worth trying a few demos, I am looking forward to it.

I did get a little worried when I saw on Planet Mongoose that A Call to Arms Second Edition - Rulebook and Fleet Lists were still in editing, and playtesters still submitting amends.

Getting scared that it won't be ready.

Bear in mind that Mongoose do their own printing, so once its finished they can just print off enough for the open day. Enough for the full release isn't neccesary. They could probably have the game finished on Wednesday and printed in time for the Saturday of the open day. (I'm just guessing)
