Time for a good news story:
Over the course of the miniatures issues, I have managed to receive a total of 6 miniatures with engines that were damaged beyond my abilities to repair. I set them aside and continued on with the others.

Monday, I sent Matthew an email inquiring as to how to go about getting the engines replaced?

Lo and behold, when I opened the mailbox last night, there were six complete, replacement miniatures there!!!
No half measures from mongoose this time around. Every defective piece was replaced with a whole miniature!

While there may have been issues on timing in the initial six months, I have always seen a willingness to go above and beyond to make things right.
 
Matthew and customer service team in the UK are excellent, specifically Kelly George.

But, I think you have been lucky, I'm not worried about missing parts, I can't seem to get whole mini's.
 
Turn-over times have gotten better. A LOT better. I picked jp both my Romulan fleet box and Squadron box #7 both within two weeks of notice of shipment.
