Modifying Shadow Warships

Have any of you tried sharpening the spines on a Shadow Warship? I'm not suggesting that they should be sharp enough to be dangerous...just a bit less blunt looking.

If so, do you have any tips on how to do it? (novice modeler here!)

I'd sand them, very, very carefully until they had a better point. Be wary of how much metal you're removing.

Thank you for the advice. Here is a question: do the Shadow Warships have any detail on the spines that would be obliterated by the sanding process? Or is the spine just a featureless spike?

I do not own any Shadows but I plan on getting some to run "historical" games for my wargaming group. Take care and have a good day.

Looking at the pictures there might be some texturing, but I'm not sure. One of the Shadows players can tell you more, I expect.

Am I alone in thinking that the current Shadow ship design doesn't look quite menacing enough?

Place 4 Together on the table and most people will laugh maniacally and then place down 8 War level ships and blow them to pieces in a turn or two (not that they dont look cool imho)
