Mongoose
Has anyone done any conversions to create the missing models from Armageddon such as the Brivoki, the Fireraptor, the Ka'Bin'Tak, the G'Vrahn, or the Raiders Nova? I recently did a Raiders Nova, sorry no digital camera so no pics and I am thinking of doing the Brivoki and the Fireraptor as I am currently playing combined League in a campaign. Any ideas for how to do these conversions out there?
Here is the idea I am toying around with for the Brivoki. For the front section assemble an Avioki as normal.
Then use the rear section, the tall piece that slots into the base, of another Avioki with out attaching anything else to it except the base.
Lastly connect the full Avioki to the Avioki solo tower via 2 Shyarie frigates sideways. I would connect them bottom of the Shyaries to the sides of the hollowed out section of the Avioki towers so that the top of each of the Shyarie models would face outward.
Any thoughts on how that would work and what it would look like? I need to measure my ships the next time I am at work so that I can see if the Shyaries would fit properly, but in theory it could work.
My plans for a Fireraptor are a little more involved as the only thing I would be using for this would be Mongoose/AOG bits for the wings, nose, guns, and engines plus copious amounts of green stuff and the plastic center spool from a receipt tape roll.
Of course I know that as soon as I do these Mongoose will finally release the models for these ships. Seeing as I just finished my Raider Nova they should probably announce a release date on Monday knowing my luck.
