I am looking for some miniatures for BFE:MC mainly US Marines. What are you people using for your miniatures. I have access to a little bit of the old BFE US infantry but am looking for others. What do you guys use.

Help in desperate needs.

it's a 20mm scale (as 'most' MC players are using, cheap as hell :p )

Depends on whether you want 28mm figures or plan to use 20mm. For 20mm scale there's quite a range ( Revell and Caesar plastics, Liberation metals for a start although the plastics don't all have a good range of weapons options). In 28mm the best I've seen are the Black Scorpion range (who also do Iraqi insurgent types). If you're starting an army or two from scratch I'd suggest 20mm as you can get a large range of relatively cheap 1/72 kits to suit (e.g. my M1A1HAs and Cobras were £4 each).

I'd go for 1/72/20mm scale. There are a HUGE number of available minis. I play marines too and am using Italeri's modern US infantry for my normal infantry squads, Caesar's modern US elite force for my Force Recon marines. The Italeri models have slightly outdated equipment, and the Caesar ones have state of the art stuff. That makes it much easier to tell who's who. I spruced up the squads with OKB Grigorov brass etched M14's in place of the designated marksman rifle in the BFE book... Mostly because I like M14's. I used Dragon 1/72 scale HMMWV's and a Hobbycraft 1/72 AH-1z, though I wouldn't recommend the hobbycraft kit. It's out of scale and a bit of a pain to assemble as it's just a modded version of one of their other AH-1 kits and they expect you to trim off huge pieces of plastic, and even the pieces that normally are supposed to fit together require a good amount of putty to fill in...

The biggest advantage of 1/72 is cost. All that cost me just over $50 (not counting shipping) and I have 60-some infantry models left over!

Most of all of my 3 armies are Battlefield Evolution miniatures and Forces of Valor diecast. I haven't painted but only a few models. I like my armies but sometimes have a hard time finding some stuff that matches up in size as they tend to be bigger than 20mm and smaller than 28mm. All in all, they are nice pre-painted armies that are very playable.
