Midnight in the Temple Quarter?

So my wife and I have read through the 2e Conan RPG, and have made up a couple of characters and are getting ready to put together adventures for each other. I recall that the Overview of the book mentions a short adventure in the main book. I finish reading the campaign section, but don't see it. So I go back to page 7, and there it is, a listing for Chapter 15-- Midnight in the Temple Quarter, a short scenario set in Shumir in Shem. Only problem is, my book has Chapter 14, followed by the Index, followed by character sheet and OGL, and nothing else.

So... where is it?

A search shows me that it was not included in the book at all, cut out as "an editing decision," and supposed to come out in Signs & Portents "some time soon" as of six months ago.

Sigh. Look, when you say something is going to be in a book and it's not, that's not "an editing decision." When you advertise something in the preview and it's not in the product, that's not "an editing decision." That's called "Bait and Switch."

This leaves me quite angry indeed. I don't appreciate being cheated by a book publisher.

I will ask Chris about this, he has been very busy trying to get the next two Conan books ready plus Traveller, so this might just have been put on the back burner.

Midnight in the Temple Quarter was a short and simple affair - the characters are at a festival in Shem when a slave girl begs for their aid, and they have to rescue another girl from an evil sorcerer before he sacrifices her.

There's also a semi-sequel, Conan & the Waking Dream, written. I don't know what the current story with them is.

Seems pretty good to me. Stereotypical but highly Conanesque...
I hope it will see print very soon.
