Hi all. I'm being a little more active on the forums now as for the last months since I joined. Just really a browser before but this stuff is addictive.... :?

My vow.... To finish a full 1000 point Tyranid army for 40k (The Battleforce plus the Macragge stuff and a Hive Tyrant) ready for sale on E-bay! I'm giving up on 40k as Evo is much better.

I've technically started by basing and painting 60% of the 1st base colour on the figs but there is a long way to go. I'll post some pics soon!

PlayWithBob - there won't be a separate gallery thread, but I'm planning to compile all the completed pictures into a gallery post at the end of this thread once the challenge is complete.

Everyone - please can we be a bit more specific with vows next time? The whole point is that you specify what you will actually paint (e.g. 2 Darkners, a Balvarin and a Primus instead of 'a Centauri fleet'), and stick to it.

Mr_Evil - vowing pre-painted models is cheating.

I bought them all off my mate who gave up on the Idea of Nids after painting one figure. (he's not much of a Painter) 50 quid for everything and I reckon I can made a damn side more on E-bay for them when they're painted!

I'm shocked I decided on the Behemoth colour Scheme afterall as the first time I saw it my first reaction was... Bleargh. Oh well at least they'll look nice when they're finished. I hope!!!!

I have the heft value of Rakhams Wolfen Predators, About the only thing heavier might be a Warjack or some Grizzlies.

As to progress, everything is assembled, undercoated and basecoated. Three have had a wash applied and Syriak is currently being highlighted.

I would post pictures, but I don't have a digital camera handy.
