Ah, another book that Amazon has listed as "This title has not yet been released." and is still listed for pre-order only (Something I did on January 27). I hope the release date of May 18, 2010 on Amazon is wrong and it comes sooner than that! Anyone know when Amazon is supposed to get this or book? Or does anyone know how long the delay is for all the mongoose books for their release date and when they give them to Amazon?

True enough. But the level of tardiness of its arrival will influence my decision as to whether or not to pre-order from Amazon again.

It's been in stock and available for a few days from Noble Knight and FRPGames. In my experience, with the exception of WOTC titles, you can expect any game your order though Amazon to take an extra 45 to 60 days. Don't know why their channel is like that, but after seeing it over and over again last year with titles from Mongoose, Cubicle 7 and others, I gave up. Cancelled all my pre-orders and switch over to the two above.

A little more expensive, but so is forgetting you pre-ordered something on Amazon ages ago and ending up with two copies.

Well, this is my first experience with them and likely my last. Good to know someone this isnt an isolated incident though.

I purchased the softback from Amazon Monday with the hopes of getting it by Friday (2nd day shipping), but unfortunately it has yet to ship out. Needless to say, I am rather upset. Does anyone happen to know if a pdf version is being sold and if so where? I would love to get my (digital) hands on it too especially now that my physical book won't be here in time for campaign start tomorrow.

I can't wait. Does anyone one know if it contains any information on costs for starting up a company?? Anyway mycerius, you should have it by next weekend if that helps any.

Well, this concerns me somewhat. I just checked my email and I have a notice that Reft will be here on Monday..... but nothing on Merchant Prince. Maybe I'm further down the line, but I ordered both books (and Dilettante) at the same time.

It will probably be shipped soon. I recently was notified that Reft Sector is shipping soon, and i bet Merchant Prince will follow soon.

I totally understand companies supporting local gaming stores by getting books out to them first, and if I had a local game store I would support them and purchase my books there. Closest FLGS to me is 200 miles away.
I have no idea why they did not send out both books to the others here. first thought was that my order was both books together, but Dark Lord Skippy said he has both books on the same order number too. Only thing I can think of is that Amazon either didn't order enough books or will be sending out a seperate notice to them later. I only received the one notice with both books being shipped together.

I wonder if that's because he feels there isn't enough demand. If you know others in the area that would purchase them from the store too, I would let the owner know. Have each person assure the owner you would purchase them, then make sure you do purchase them from him. Might even be able to get some other gamers interested. Just my thoughts anyway.
