Can you use the Commercial Entity rules, in Book 7 Merchant Prince, in 2300AD? Also how would you need to modify them to make them usable in 2300AD?

You could, but keep in mind the economics of shipping in 2300 are artificial, with most non-Libertines being subsidized to some degree or another by governments and corporations.
