Mega-City One Terrain

Damn, I wish. Thing is that GF9 use laser cutters for all their stuff, so its all precise. Sure its nice, but its damn expensive to make and pretty easy with a laser cutter.

I e-mailed Jez at Old Crow the other day asking for recommendations as to which resin models and scenery would be suitable for GoMCO. Here's his reply:

A lot of the Old Crow vehicle range would be very suitable - the Provider truck, Trojan APC and Rebel utility vehicle spring to mind. The Lancer was designed with a strong influence from the Judge Dredd Pat-Wagons. The Ainsty Vacant Lot range contains several shot-up and damaged street vehicles.

The Old Crow Accessories and Ainsty Cargo Hold contain a wide selection of futuristically styled crates and cargo items for obstacles and objectives.

For terrain, the Ainsty ranges are full of possibilities - try Front Street, Vacant Lot ( again :-) ), Cold Store and Car Park for shop fronts, warehouses and street furniture. The more *sci-fi* ranges - Starport, Tech Tunnel, Pipefarm and Skywalk are good for more futuristic features and interiors. Even Tirewall and Toxicana provide interesting scenario ideas.

Hope that's useful to others too!

I bought quite a few skips and containers from the Vacant Lot and Cargp Hold ranges, plus loads of Tirewall bits, ruined huts, etc.

It's lovely stuff and very handy.

Plan to buy some Base Camp bits for interiors at some point.

Quite a few of the Scenic Mayhem articles from Signs & Portents can be adapted to creating your own GoMCO terrain too. The Starship Troopers articles especially can be applied to Cursed Earth scenarios.

What is maker of the scifi-ish card terrain and vehicles used in the photo on the GoMC1 page..I swear Ive seen the stuff around the web somewhere

Its the terrain and vehicles that you get in the GOMC-1 box set!

I don't know if its available form anywhere else, I certainly haven't seen it, and I look around for paper terrrain a lot.

Cheers,

Steve
