So I flicked through Volumes 1 and 2, and while there's a lot of bios of other judges in Vol 2, but no Dredd bio, so which volume will that be in?

Dredd's bio would fill a book I suspect.
Re Vol 2 ~ I found a lot of the bios rather thin, often missing important events or quirks of character mentioned in the comic strips. Often the brief text concentrated on a crime or aspect of Mega City One rather than the Judge him/herself. No great problems , though I suspect this will seem a tad wastedful if they are repeated in further volumes.
Novels seem to have been ignored for reference material but the audio books have been used.
Good choice of Judges I felt, though I would have preferred Votten was put in perhaps instead of Steel .
Choice of Kruger was surprising , seeing as his printed, history is at continuity odds with the Sector 13 background material and scenarios being run by Mongoose.

It states in the rules Pete that Dredd has no bio as he is too hard! And as havercake lad says it would fill a book

Arguably Dredd's bio will be every volume of the MC Archives.
Every entry (well, the vast majority) have some input from Dredd, to Dredd or his saga. To try to do justice to him in even one volume is perhaps beside the point: he IS Mega City One, and Mega City One is Dredd. To understand one, you need the full imprint of the other.

If you havent got them yet The complete case files are well worth the money for complete judge dredd bio... well complete up to Prog 699 so about 1000 issues behind!... and at 37 prog's a volume ... only another 27 or so volumes to go
