May 8th Tournament in Cincinnati, Ohio

The plans are under way for the first, that I know of, B5 tournamet in Cincinnati, OH on May8th at the HMGS-GL Warband Convention. A few friends and I plan on running this, which will be a first so hopefully it will go ok! We need to have a idea of how many will be there.

Please let em know if you plan on being there so I can let them know how many and how much space we will need.

Basic format is the Walsal format. there will be a Tournamet pack on the Warband site in a couple of days/weeks. I will post the link when I have it.

Please visit www.cincycon.org and pre-register so that I can let the orginasers know how many tables we need. Also, the tournamet pack is listed ont he website.

I have several fleets availbe is anyone who might need to use one, Narn, EA 3rd Age,and and few Crusade, ISA, Abbai, Brakiri, and maybe Pak'ma'ra if I get them painted. A few players locallly have some fleets, but I do not know if they will be available or which fleet they will be using.

I was wondering if it is too late to sign up for the tourny? Different life circumstances have kept myself and a couple others from signing up, but it is increasingly likely that we will be able to do so.

Also, is there an entry fee for the tournament or is it just the convention fee?

It's not too late. Just the Convention fee which I believe is $5.00

Vorlons - 57 Points
Minbari - 30 Points
Shadows - 23 points
Centauri - 10 points
Narn - 0 points, only becasue they did not paly.

The guys from Kentucky could not make it and I never did hear back from the gents in Ill. plus a couple local guys had to work.

They are working on the date for next year, so maybe with some advance notice we will ahve more players.

Total for the convention was about 160 people, which was good for the first time.

I will post when the next convention is and if we decide to do something in the fall.

Sorry about the lack of communication. A sudden new job opportunity and the car breaking down got me distracted. Good to hear there was a good turnout. I definitely am going again to try to make it next year, if you have it.
