Yep, no missiles (not that it needs them, with its engines and main beam the thing practically IS a missle 
) that upper thingy is the bridge I assume. I actually quite like the Marathon and will use my Nike instead of the Nemesis (though I might use it as a Marathon at times too since its just so cool)

Got my Marathon about a Month ago... and it almost made me decide not to by any more CtA minis. Almost - until Matt assured me the quality will improve in the future. I still hate the crude hull sculpting (especially when compared to a Warlock) and the Non-EA looking (single-thruster!) engine section.
So I am ignoring the existence of the Marathon in MY (babylon 5) universe, and am converting the miniature with the (equally badly done IMO) Nemesis into one (Marathon Engines & Nemesis fore hull, with lots of Warlock turrets and some ShadOmega spines -once I get that order delivered-; will make a nice "Nemesis Prototype")

Will do! (though MY conversions never come out poorly... {...but that may be that I break down those which fail to please me to parts and start over})
The first convertion phase (Nemesis fore hull on Marathon engines, combining the two bridge sections and adding a few turrets) is done, and as soon as I get the ShadOmega sprues I'll finish the thing... then all I need to do is to find a good way to get a picture of the thing where people can look at it...

I think you'll find the pokey little bit IS the huge laser. People see to assume that the big prong on the front of that and the Warlock etc is the main gun but its not. Im not 100% sure what it IS (probably sensors or something) but I do know its not a weapon barrel! I mean just look at it, if it was a gun the barrel would be almost as wide as a hanger bay!
ps. for the record its not a Laser, its a Neutron Cannon
