Malware Alert

Cosmic Mongoose
Google Chrome puts up a Malware alert for www.mongoosepublishing.com regarding cheapstuff.com.

The same thing is happening at BRP Central.

Does anyone know if this is a real alert or something on my PC?

Is anyone else getting these alerts?

I use the latest version of the Internet Explorer, I do not get any
alert and my protection program does not find any malware.

I get nothing with Chrome 9.0.1084.56 m or Firefox 13.0.1

Have you been somewhere you shouldn't and picked up something nasty?

Leave Chrome
Avoid the horror of IE any verison
Leave Firefox to the hunters
Go Safari. Keeps the classic look, is increadibly fast, and doesn't rabbidly follow ignorantly thought out 'interface improvements'.

I mean, moving the tabs ABOVE the address bar making it 'easier' to surf? I have to keep adjusting from looking AT the top of the current page to AT the top of the entire window.

*sighs*.

I prefer Firefox, mostly because Safari keeps some unused space around that's just for logos and grey bars, and well, My notebook doesn't have that kind of space.

Didn't get anything on the malware, although I'm running Linux, so that might be why I didn't.

No malware warning from firefox on Ubuntu or chrome on Win7.

BRP did have some a while back, perhaps you picked it up then?

I don't know which browser you dislike for this, but Firefox lets you have it either way.

Apparently so.

An evening watching England lose at football again and with Windows in Safe Mode seems to have fixed it.

I'm not getting anything either. Not on Win7, linux or freeBSD...firefox or chrome. I do use adblock and noScript add-ons.

I use Firefox with Adblock, NoScript and Ghostery on both Windows 7 and Fedora 17 and I'm not seeing any warnings at either site.
