Hello

I read in the recent news:

>Many of our original hardback titles have been converted
>to softback titles, with a corresponding drop in the cover
>price. The first of these titles is Magic of the Young Kingdoms,
>of which we have just taken delivery. It is in stock in both
>the UK and US right now, and is a good example of the new
>printing.

Maybe i am wrong, but wasn´t MotYK listed as already available a week ago, and The Elric of Melnibone Companion also?

Were there small amounts of these books printed in hardback at all?

By the way:
Where went "Necromantic Arts"...again?

I am not complaining, just asking... ;-)

Cheers

A tiny number of MoYK were printed, but none reached the US or most of Europe.

Necromantic Arts will appear a little later this year.

I just bought Bright Shadows, Magic of the YK and the Companion. All of them are hardcover with a really poor binding.
I should have waited for the softcover versions, which are cheaper with a better binding (or so it seems).

I have Magic of the Young Kingdoms and Elric Companion on order from IGUK and Orc's Nest (respectively.) Both are apparently hardcover. I am wondering what the binding will look like! I took a batch of superglue to my hc copy of Bright Shadows and fixed it good and proper, so am not above doing the same to these new orders, if it turns out to be necessary!

If they are beyond recovery, are Mongoose still offering to replace substandard books (presumably with softcover versions)?
