LOS - Jump Points

Hi, I have a question for the learned brain trust here. I distinctly remember in version 1e, that jump points blocked line of sight. I am not sure where I got that from but I know that is always how we played it (maybe from B5W?...not sure). A couple weeks ago we played a game where this became an important issue and I just informed everyone that was how it worked. Well...now I am informed that that particular rule is not in the 2e rulebook (and I am afraid that maybe it was never in the 1e rulebook either although I have not checked).

So, does a jump point block LOS? Any help here?

well its not terrain so i would personally say it doesnt, much like a ship doesnt.

I had the same issue.
I was convinced that they did, but after checking the rulebook, we ruled that they did not. and that is the ruling used for games within my group.

I can't think of or remember any mention of JPs blocking LOS in any version of the game.

You must have dreamt it after eating some bad spoo... :lol:

It's not in any version of the game at all, I had just convinced myself that it was.
