Looking for ideas for freighter paintjobs

I'm looking for ideas for freighter paint jobs. I have some freighters that need paint, but am not sure what I want to do with them.

Bonus points if they are white/look like Federation freighters. I plan to use some left over Fed decals from Tennshington where possible.

They are intended to be non-Empire specific freighters, for the most part. Not really interested in grey; I have enough grey ships.

Have a look at some pictures of freighter sailing ships - there's a huge diversity in different colours with some interesting two-tone schemes. Give them a dirtied up look and they'll look like they've been in service for decades.

If you feel up to a challenge, is could be an idea to try a patchwork effect, to show decades of makeshift repairs and such.

Or look at Haulage vehicles and put some flashy colours on so they are adversting the company when in port
