Or at least letting us know what they were high on when doing that reasoning.
The one time I've seen it one was covering the back of a pair of primus battlecruisers. Unfortunately the white stars flanked the battlecruisers (taking a bit of a kicking, to be fair) shot the snot out of the liati before it could say "look! I have dedicated anti-whitestar guns!" and then proceded to can-opener the sterns of the primus.
I agree that outranging the whitestar with a fast-tracking turret mount would be unfair.....but please give it the same range....
