Lexington and Command variant Chicago

Has anyone used them? I'm just curious as to whereever or not anyone uses them or has tried them, as when I look at their rules they both seem overcosted, especially the Chicago command variant, as it is only 20pts less then a Kirov, the main use I see for them is if you have an odd amount of pts left. Admitably both games I've had have been small skirmishes, with neither side having a ship with the command trait, so I may be missing something.

Same here; I have used the Lexington several times, but have not used the Chicago Class for the aforementioned closeness to Kirov's points issues.

As with the others, I like the Lexington class as a good value but the New Command Cruisers are too close to a Kirov to bother taking.

They are in the rulebook.

I completely missed the Lexington as an option......how many times have I looked at that book...
Least you havn't spent the last few months thinking that the changes to the AH phaser 1 was -1 rather then it becomes turret arc.
May pick/order one this Saturday then, only problem is I tend to max out my Kirovs/kirov variants when I can, and they come with command, though to be honest having the option will be nice.
Is there going to be a separate model for the Chicago command variant?

I still want to see that stats on the Gettysburg. Also a good reason to take the command variant Chicago is if you need just a few extra points to from say a battle frigate to a destroyer. Everything figures into your play style. Do i worry about int synch's or do i go for survivability or just raw fire power.

^^^^ Same, I really like the Gettysburg and so want to see it's rules, any word on where those would be published?
Something I just thought about as well, the Lexington is the same pts as the Manta Ray, which I must admit I quite like the model and it's rules don't seem that bad, so in a way they are competing depending on your playstyle I guess.
