Learning multiple grimoires

Do sorcery cults/schools give access to their grimoires to allied schools? Or, do you need to join multiple orders like joining multiple cults?

Can a sorceror learn multiple grimoires in character creation? If so, do they get all the spells?

Orders will teach spells from their grimoires to their allies, but not necessarily the whole grimoire and, in most cases, unless one becomes a member of that order, one would not, in all likelihood, gain access to the full range.

In character creation, its really up to you, but I'd suggest limiting starting characters to a single grimoire. Gaining more should part of a character's journey.

Do Lhankor Mhy temples have access to the Alien Combination Machine in the Second Age? According to the new Sartar book, using it enables LM cultists to assess sorcerous grimoires for taints of corruption and thereby compile non-corrupting grimoires for their own use.

Of course, I'd imagine most God Learner grimoires would come out as wholly corrupting.

Remember that Sartar:Kingdom of Heroes is a HeroQuest supplement.I suspect that the two different Glorantha gaming systems interpret Lhankor Mhy magic differently. In MRQ2, LM may not have access to sorcery at all.

If you want to bring your game more into line with HQ, however, S:KoH states "Some temples rejected GL sorcery, others accepted certain grimoires. However, those who cooperated with the foreigners were deceived, for the God Learners served Gbaji and not the Seeker and the Sage." So apparantly they did have the Alien Combination Machine.
