Banded Mongoose
Hello,

Am I going mad?
Scoundrel is LBB7, but Book 6 in the large format.

What happened to LBB6 and can I expect this to be Merchant Prince?

Must be nice. No FLGS, since I closed my shop, in the area wants to carry MGTrav. I must order from online, sight unseen. (sigh)

Drop us a line - we could not stop all the incorrectly labeled ones going out, but we trapped most. We'll happily swap any we missed!

Must be nice. No such thing as a FLGS in this area at all...

I don't understand. I have no problem with incorrect labeling (bid deal, the interior is correct) but I can't find a game retailer in the area that will carry MGP Traveller. Midwest Oklahoma My shop that I owned and had to close in Febuary, carried and sold it well, but I can't convice another 'Magic' shops to do so. EVEN THOUGH I TELL THEM I WOULD COMMIT TO BUY At LEAST ONE OF ANY TRAVELLER ITEM< arrgh. (Hair leaving head in Frustration! HLHIF!}

Ben, here in Spokane, WA proper we have FOUR game stores... ONE of them carry's Traveller and not very well (this store has employees denying Pinnacle is still in business despite the latest books are on the shelves AND they are in all the distributor catalogs).

Even if you are in a nice area where there are plenty of people with money to spare (Seattle, WA and Portland, OR for me) it's is hard for a store to carry anything but the most popular games without worrying about people getting the word (and that word going out without expensive advertising).

A BIG part of that is the Magic/CCG/Let me do through RPGs all the evil nasty vile things that I can't get away with in RL. Here we have people who will play at a store three blocks from their house but get someone to drive them 5 or 10 miles to the store that offers big discounts on MTG... and then cry when the store they play in closes (which it did today, Nov 14th).
