Lawgiver Mk I or Mk II?

I tried my first game of the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game last night, and we had an absolute blast, even just with the Barko Brothers introductory scenario.

A few questions rose up (some of which have already been asked, so I won't repeat them), but the only thing I'd really like clarity on right now is do the Judges get a Lawgiver Mk I or Mk II? The entries for creating a force simply state "Lawgiver". Given the difference (range, ammo selection, etc.) there could be a noticable tactical advantage.

Thanks for the game, Mongoose! I hope to be playing it again today, and I'm looking forward to the new miniatures you've got planned. :D

There's no specific ruling that I'm aware of, but since the MkI is described as old and almost obsolete, I'd guess the standard arm is a MkII.

I'd let people take either (since the MkI is kind of a downgrade) - it's more a matter of taste; it being quite appropriate for a senior judge to carry a MkI. Most of the models have MkIIs, anyway.

It is indeed the MkII - the rules for the MkI are there for completeness (though we may do models with them at a later date).
