With the new version of Pirates of Drinax coming, we are going to be removing the original free-to-download version in a few days. So, if you want to get your hands on some piratey-goodness before the big release, act quickly!

Any idea when the downloadable and print versions will be ready?

Downloadable version in, perhaps, two weeks (really just putting the finishing touches to it!), the printed version (which you will not want to miss - it is going to be glorious!) will be perhaps 3 months after that.

I'd really like to pre-order the printed copy and get the PDF in two weeks, and the printed stuff when it is ready, even if I have to wait 3 months.
Will you be doing that with this, as you did with the core books?

Current projection: PDF ebook in 3 weeks, hardcopy at the bottom end of the year (we'll do pre-orders for that at the same time as the ebook).

In between the two, we have a veritable fleet of add-ons, upgrades and cool bitz to further enhance the campaign.

This is really going to be a huge deal for the Trojan Reach and travel - hope to see you all on the journey!

Meanwhile my long-running Drinax campaign keeps going. On one hand, I look forward to all the wonderful new stuff in this version to throw at my players, on the other, I worry I won't be able to use some of it because they have already passed that point or events that have so far happened invalidate the new stuff.

Alas, i will make it work. I'm really looking forward to this!!!

Meanwhile my long-running Drinax campaign keeps going. On one hand, I look forward to all the wonderful new stuff in this version to throw at my players, on the other, I worry I won't be able to use some of it because they have already passed that point or events that have so far happened invalidate the new stuff.

Whatever point you are at in the campaign, there is a _lot_ of stuff you will be able to use. And I mean... a Lot.

Should also mention that we are currently working on the Great Rift box set, and we have kept Drinax in mind for some of the regions - there is, for example, a Freeport just a short jump away from Borderland subsector, along with lots of juicy new merchant vessels

Sounds cool. Looking forward to it. I like the sound of the new Great Rift stuff as well.

We have an almost finished draft of the Companion with us right now, and we are just going through it. That should be complete this month, at which point it goes back to the writer for finishing, and then to layout!

Sometimes finding those last niggling little bugs are hard to spot when you have looked it over so many times. It can help to get some fresh eyes on that.
