Knight of the White Mountain for your perusal.

i agree that it wouldn't be a bad thing to sorta "paladinize" the KOTWM. I mean, i always found it strange that the Kai were the only ones with supernatural abilties and they were from Somurlund. Same with the brotherhood of the crystal star.

Now all you need do is Lone-wolfize the paladin features and plug them into the KOTWM and you've got something.

BLASPHEMY!!!

Seriously, since we seem to have arrived at the conclusion that the KotWM were not originally written as paladins, I won't be altering the class to include any paladin-like traits.

Anyone who feels paladinness wuold be appropriate, however, are welcome to post their own version here for comparison (or modify mine, if you think it works as a starting point for the paladin-knight).

Regarding my own KotWM, can I assume then that -- questions of paladinhood aside -- everyone is pretty happy with it? Any other potential problems?

As I wrote before, I think your KotWM is excellent, Sablewyvern. I don't remember any evidence in the gamebooks of paladin-like abilities related to them, and further I have the impression that clerics and paladins from DnD have no place in Magnamund.

It was not intentional, but I created a second thread about the Knight of the White Mountain, where I basically merged SableWyvern’s original proposal with the “multi-path” addition.

This is here: Regarding the Knight of the White Mountain.

I also have some question about it, like the disappearance of Cleaving Blow and Focus 3/day, as well as some naming question (Force of Arms = Power Attack? Cleaving Blow = Cleave? Many-Felling Strike=Great Cleave?)
