okay there are two pieces which are not on the picture. I assume they go on top and bottom. Does anyone have a picture of how the top one is supposed to fit?

So I see the lower pointy things, the "two prong" thing. What about the the "one prong thing" is that just superfluous?

I haven't built the K yet, but they look to be about the same size, with the K a small fraction bigger.

animus, you are correct on both accounts. The single prong thing has no use that I can tell, except maybe if you wanted only one prong on the underside instead of two. Even then it would take some work.

The Bin'Tak is a half inch shorter than the Ka'Bin'Tak, but it significantly less "grand". The dimensions on the Bin'Tak are just smaller in general.

Got my Ka'Bin'Tak today and have the same problem with the two parts. Can somebody please upload some pics?

there you go, the k is a bit bigger than a bin tak, and the single beam is useless, just the twin on the bottom goes on.
