Banded Mongoose
Loved Loz's inclusion of these viridian chaps~
Every GM can have a field day deciding their fate and what threat they pose the peace of the YK or the lives of adventurers.
Possibly the race, or a debased form, survives in the lower reaches of their old city ?
Perhaps they are now Morlock like savages who have found an ancient device of the Doomed Folk and plot their revenge ?
Perhaps they fight savage subterranean wars of stealth and cruelty in a manner after the REH story 'Red Nails' ?
A few observations on the stats and notes submitted in the recent Elric Companion~
Weapons~ No shields used in the comic strips though weighted cords are used for ensnaring opponents in their aerial raid. Quite possibly a skill learned when acting as herdsmen on their beasts.
Riding Beasts~ At the time of their skyship raid on Imrryr they had also access to mounts which resembled Brontotheriums. ( Just using the translation~ 'Thunderbeast' seems a great name for them.)
Presumably these were trained and stationed at outposts on the other side of the desert ajoining the Karasim Abyss.
stats would probably be similar to a Rhino , though with slightly less tough hide.
[u]Sanity most probably have insanities as a result of the mind threatening sights of the Abyss where they live.
Religion~ I dont agree with them being elemental air cultists. The relationship with the air elementals is achieved through Melnibonean sorcery and use of hostages and is presumably short lived. I can image the Air Elementals might well have devasted the homes of the Karasim after the release of their Goddess. ( Followed by a vengeful pogrom when the Melniboneans turned into Imperialists ! )
Arioch is simply believed to be a deamon, so perhaps a savage form of ancestor worship/appeasement is more appropiate for this folks beliefs.
King Minak's drinking vessel is either made from a skull or is at least carved in the likeness of one. Perhaps they were once devotees of Chaos in their nation's past, who even now , unwittingly, honour Chardros through their practices?
