June painting challenge!

OK, here we go again. You heard the man and you know the drill.

1) Pledge to paint up a bunch of minis before the end of the month!
2) paint them!
3) put the photos on the internets!
4)?
5) Profit!

I got exactly sod all painted last month, but i'm getting back into the groove now, i think.

I STILL have that trollblood warpack to finish, the beasts are about 90% done, but i've still got to do all of Madrak aside from his skin. So that's priority 1

After that, I want to get a squad of Tharn bloodtrackers done, Kreuger the Stormwrath, a Woldwatcher and a Gorax - all for the Circle orboros from Hordes.

I'll be introducing friend to 6mm modern game in Ropecon at august so need to paint lots o' stuff there. Above are bare essentials to have variety of stuff for both British and Russian forces

just not sure whether to go for a british DPM camo scheme or like some of the mi in the movie Graphic novel, orange fatigues and olive drab armour and webbing

Well last month I painted nothing on my list but did do 45 Moria Goblins and a warmachine juggernaut.
This month it is the Magnus the Traitor battlegroup, a unit of long gunners, Gorman di Wulfe, Kell Bailoch and a unit of Steelheads. I'm trying to get my 500 point magnus agenda finished basically.

You know, this painting thing is completely pointless as long as almost nobody show their painted stuff.

My digicam is knackered right now, which is irksome, but I'll endeavour to post some photos.

Update: Madrak is almost finished! I ended up getting the painting bug last night and did all the metallics and the base coat for his tartan.

I'm probably going to leave the circle stuff to one side, there's a Warmachien tournament coming up and I'm thinking about entering with a very specific army, and that needs to me to paint up 2 winterguard gun crews, a winterguard rocketeer, and a WG officer and standard bearer

Gah. I was too optimistic. I forgot something...

...My paints in Finland would be all dried up...

...New paints have been ordered but I will expect them next weeks thursday or friday EARLIEST. Didn't help me that there's public holiday now shutting down stores and I had to order stuff from mail order(atleast I had to order lots of paint so postage wasn't much of a worry...).

So all this will be transfered to july with plenty of more stuff added to mix.[/list]

Well I've almost finished the steelheads, just got to find the flock, and the rest of the battlegroup should be done, or at least painted to gaming standard in the next two days. Just got to figure out how to take reasonable pictures now.

I'm a bit late to the party but off the top of my head I've painted 20 Arachnid Warriors, 15 WASP troopers, The Roughneck Squad, Female Troopers set, and also touched up a bunch of other Mobile Infantry this month. Also working on 2 Mantis Hunters, 1 Mantis Assasin, and 3 Hoppers. I'll try to post pics in a few days. I'll wait until the end of the month.
