June 2016 - Errata

Hi

Just got the latest updated PDF's from Drivethru and there is a new file included, Traveller_Core_Rulebook_erratajun2016_Ebook.

This is in addition to the two, Traveller_Core_eBook & Traveller_Core_Rulebook_BW_PRINTFRIENDLY books. Are these two now no longer needed if the errata book contains the changed pdf?

Is there any chance of a separate PDF with the actual Errata in so those with Physical books can have those changes?

The only significant changes appear to be in adding Hull numbers for the small craft, and some changes to Vehicle weapons damage.
The rest are missing words, minor rephrases, rescaling a few pictures, etc.

The Hull points were what you'd expect them to be, but the Vehicle Weapons Damage table came as a surprise to me.

Edit: The vehicle weapons table is old. In the last pre-errata version it is with correct data.

So are you saying that if you want to keep the table with the correct data, don't bother downloading the errata?

Particularly for this table - yes. Autocannon does not deal 1D dmg. This table is, at least parts of it, most likely when there were 3 scales - personal/vehicle/spacecraft. Now there are only two.

Hopefully, after they clear things up, we will have both - updated books and a separate .pdf with the changes.

And not errata of the errata + update and a hot fix and an improvised telephone call transcript to apply on the fly
